…but the second mouse gets the cheese, or in this case stellar powder skiing without having to break trail!

December 1, 2011 was a good day. Got to ski a foot of some of the lightest champagne powder I've ever seen in this part of the Colorado Rocky Mountain. Also got into the Elk Mountain Traverse, a backcountry ski race from Crested Butte to Aspen that happens March 31. Doing the race with my wife, favorite partner and best friend, Elaine – pictured here. A perfect day in my book.
