Alta Backcountry

Twas a nice morning up there today. Headed up through the old ghost town, due west, to the mine and then straight up. Snow quality was marginal – lots or warmth and wind this week – so decided to climb a peak instead. And actually the turns down were not so bad – it's kind of fun to ski wind slab and crust with pizzaz and make it work. A wee bit of a challenge, ya know?
